Air-to-water Heating

As the name suggests, this type of heating pump takes heat from the outside air and uses it to heat water for your home and heating system.

Air to water heat pumps are installed with this unit being the primary heat source for all your homes heating and hot water requirements. They use the the natural energy (heat) in the outside air combined with the use of a refirigerant to boost the “air energy” giving you usable water temperature via a heat exchanger to heat your home and give you hot water through a stored water cylinder.

Heat pumps are ideal for underfloor heating systems set into a solid screed system as this type of system requires a much lower temperature to warm your house than a conventional radiator system.

We’ve a lot of experience, and we’d love to talk through options with you so please, get in touch.
